Super leçon de surf! Je n'avais jamais surfé avant, a la fin de ma session je pouvais prendre les vagues debout. La plage où l'on apprend semble parfaite pour débuter. Les explications d'Andy sont très claires et il a trouvé le juste équilibre entre théorie et pratique. Il est en plus très arrangeant et nous a prêté des sangles pour attacher les surf sur le toit de la voiture pour les garder 24h.

This worked out great! Met the Wick'd bus there at the beach. THEY BROUGHT ALL THE GEAR WITH THEM! So much easier than picking up in town and piling all the gear into an already full car.

They had a fresh wetsuit in a bin for me and the lesson started with how to wear and care for your gear. (All the gear was in fine shape!)

The location is ideal for practice! Jamie gave us the rundown on the beach to get us started, then into the surf! The waves were great for a lesson. We could try again and again without getting tired out. And I did achieve my goal of standing and surfing! So yes, five stars for Wick'd.

We opted for a private lesson which made getting up on the board to catch waves consistently really very easy for both myself and my 11 yr old child. We arrived at the beach according to the detail instructions and excellent communication from Andy and our kits were well prepared, the wetsuits were clean and dry and in excellent condition. The fact that we meet right at the beach makes for an easy start.

Our lesson was taught by Jamie, who spent some time explaining about the longshore currents, riptides and other helpful information that I later realized helped us to maintain our position out along the beach. He then gave us thorough, yet simple instructions on the board before getting in the water to give us the best chance for success. Some of these simple things made a massive difference to what I had tried four or five times previous having not taken a proper lesson.

The arrangement allowed us to keep the boards with us and to come back the next day. Andy even reached out to tell us what beach he would be at so that after we finished our lesson, we could simply drop the gear off to his bus at the parking lot, and not have to haul the gear back to a shop.

It really was a fantastic experience and my child and I are quite confident already at catching waves. Thanks to Jamie for your outstanding teaching and to Andy for your excellent organization and communication. I simply could not give a stronger recommendation!!

Couldn't say enough good things about Andy and Kaitlin. Booked a surf lesson for me and my two boys and everyone had a blast and learned a ton. The equipment was top notch, the water safety lessons were excellent and the surf instruction met and exceeded expectations. Plus, Andy really went the extra mile to make sure we could keep the equipment and use it the next day. Totally recommend and we will be back for sure.

Took a 2 hour family lesson with Andy and we had a fantastic time!!! He is super knowledgeable of the area and knows the best spots to go for beginners. Andy was patient and his techniques and instructions were super easy to follow.
Good quality gear and wet suits provided - just go out and have a great time!!

Andy at Wick'd was the best choice for my first ever surf lesson. I booked the 5 day camp and was glad I did. Andy knows the best times and beaches to go to for the best waves. The pictures and snacks are a great touch as well. Book with Wick'd and you won't regret it!

Highly recommended!! I wish we could give more than 5 stars; I am so pleased we booked with this company.

I can't say enough nice words about the whole organisation. Firstly, Andy is hardworking, incredibly kind and also very forgiving. I made a monumental error in booking and he was incredibly chilled about it. Working late into the night, he sorted everything out for us for the next day.

Secondly, the instructors are great. We had a family lesson (two adults and two kids; 10 & 7) and Jamie, the instructor, was brilliant and helped us get the most out of the day. We've had lessons in other countries and he was absolutely top notch.

Finally, I lost my GoPro whilst surfing😭. The Pacific is a big place and I thought it impossible to find. Nevertheless, Wick'd surf managed to do it and contacted me a few days later helping me to get it sent all the way back to the UK.
