Visited Emergency and although the wait time was 4 hours the staff and care was wonderful. The triage team are very caring and a huge shout out to our Nurse Amanda. She is one amazing person with fast efficient service and deep concern for her patient care. She made our visit the best it could be.

While I’ve never visited the ER, I can share my experience with the day surgery unit. I had a procedure in February and all the staff I came into contact with, without exception, was respectful, caring, compassionate, cheerful, attentive and professional. I cannot speak highly of them enough. The nurses were amazing - Shannon, Samantha, Natasha, Crystal, Brittany, a lovely student and OR nurses whose names I cannot remember. The surgeon and anesthetist were very thorough, and reassuring. My experience at the Winchester Hospital was definitely a 10/10. Well done!

I waited a while because it was busy, but I had an incredibly attentive doctor and he went through all possibilities. Some are pending since it was too late to get a CT scan.The level of care was top notch, the nurses I dealt with were fantastic as well.

It was not a fun day waiting in pain, but they made it better on a hard day for them and delivered compassionate service.

Thank you all, I know it wasn't an easy day for any of us and you were great!

Winchester hospital it the last hospital in Ottawa to go to. They are RUDE, ignorant and extremely judgemental. They ER is run by student nurses who don't understand paitent privacy and have zero bed side manners. They do not fully listen to the patients needs and discomforts, they just assume and don't deal with the problem at hand. They are not polite and honestly worst experience ever. Will never go back there. Very many issues within that hospital and how they treat their patients is disgusting.
