This store has refused to take back a dress that I bought from their Vaughn mills location. I followed the set out rules and took the dress back in the 14 day time frame for a store credit-they will not credit your credit card just so you know.
The store found a makeup spot on the dress that could only be seen in the store under their lights. It could not be seen at home. I did not wear the dress. The spot could have been there when I bought it as didn’t look at it that closely. The dress has the original tags on it and receipt.
The manager was supposed to call me back to discuss. I waited 5 days and called back when I did not receive a call.
I talked to the district manager and she seemed reasonable.
She suggested I try again. My daughter took the dress back for me as I live out of town.
They would not issue an in store credit. They would not take the dress back.
I couldn’t be more disappointed.
I will never shop in the store again and I suggest you do not either.
It’s too bad as the girl who served me was excellent and the clothes are very nice. I feel that Anna, the manager on duty could not have cared less about my situation.

recently had the pleasure of shopping at ya ya and co . , and I must say, the customer experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine enthusiasm and a warm welcome from the staff.

Special thanks to Nadia , who went above and beyond to assist me. She took the time to understand my needs, explained the features of various products in detail, and even demonstrated how they worked. Her patience and expertise made my decision-making process much easier. I bought lot of dresses at very good price ❤️❤️

Came here with my mother in law, planned it for awhile to shop for a wedding and she was so excited.

She’s bigger busted but tiny waist. I wasn’t appreciative how they talked about her body or gave her service. Forcing zippers up saying she just needs to push it in. She’s with mobility issues and that isn’t possible. The service was inaccessible and rushed to make a sale.

The dresses they gave seemed very ‘this is all we have’ which would have been fine with transparency about sizing but it had a mean girl service energy about it. My MIL has body image issues and they do not handle these things with sensitivity.

When budget was brought up and a dress was given in a higher number I was talked off like ‘oh it isn’t a big deal’. Compliments seem empty and just said to seal the deal. Talked about her to me as if she isn’t sitting right there. Worked in dress sales and luxury retail and they did so many things I disagree with.

I’ve personally shopped at this location before and felt eh about service I’ve had but this latest visit really sold me on not coming back.

To be completely fair Michelle my cashier was an angel. She was a joy to be greeted with and gave great service. I wish she was our sales associate because she seemed to look at us as people and not a sale.

Paid 100 dollars for a skirt that bursted in the middle of the mall first time I wore it. The manager refused to exchange the skirt said that I had to have the tag on it which makes no sense why would I keep the tag on a skirt that I like and want. If there was a solution that was come up by the store staff we could been very pleased. I thought this was a one time thing with the quality of their clothing but unfortunately now I have to assume this in fact the quality is not that good.

I would absolutely recommend this place for shopping for dresses. Nadia was extremely good at her job she knew exactly what would look good me and suggested the best dress. Everyone at store was awestruck with the dress I tried. She even provided me heels for the trial. Client service at the best.i would definitely go back. And ask her Nadia

My recent shopping experience at this location was quite uncomfortable due to the overly aggressive sales tactics employed by the staff. From the moment I entered, I was immediately approached by several associates who began selecting and bringing me items I hadn’t requested.

While I understand the importance of customer service, the approach here felt more intrusive than helpful. When I used the fitting rooms, I noticed multiple associates waiting outside, ready to offer their opinions and push for a sale as soon as I stepped out. This created a pressured environment that made it difficult for me to properly evaluate the fit and feel of the clothing.

Additionally, while the store does offer some stylish pieces, I found that the quality of the garments didn't quite justify the prices. Many items seemed comparable in quality to those found in more budget-friendly stores, with visible issues in stitching and craftsmanship.

Overall, while the selection has potential, the sales experience could benefit from a more relaxed and customer-focused approach.

I went to Ya Ya & Co Vaughan Mills location a couple days ago. It was my first time. I was greeted by Tanya, she helped me pick out so many cute items. Tanya has a passion for fashion, and is very knowledgeable. I had no idea, Tanya’s shift had finished, she continued helping me on her own time! Thank you Tanya!!
I will definitely be back ❤️

I remember when I first came across Ya Ya & Co. In Yorkdale. I absolutely love their dresses and the variety however, I have come out of my way twice to visit this location. Several things have become clear to me and worth mentioning to others who will be going through the reviews.

- The sales associates hovering over you and following you around do so because they are either commission based or are required to hit a specific sales target to stay employed. It is not about “stealing”. That’s why they feel like vultures.
- They will be right outside your change room door, ready to touch you without asking and be the first to tell you that whatever you are wearing looks good/nice on you. They don’t even give you an opportunity to take a look and think for yourself without them filling up your ear.
- If you try on several dresses, they will always tell you the more expensive/high ticket price dress looks better on you.

If you are a woman who folds under pressure, struggles deeply with insecurities and/or seek external validation, you are their main target.

Thankfully, I am strong willed and pushed back the first time I went. The sales associate was incredibly rude because I didn’t want her assistance or for her to touch me. I had to completely ignore her and act like she wasn’t there and it pissed her off. I didn’t care because I am not that kind of shopper looking for the sales rep to tell me things or be all over me. It is very overwhelming and suffocating.

Today was not as bad, the lady helped me when I asked but I was more observant of their behaviour (giving their opinions, tag team etc).

Go here if you can and are willing to push back. The dresses are nice but the sales associates here are something else. I can’t imagine working in such an environment. I wish them well
